The work
Mallick removed the old unit and installed two 200-gallon electric water heaters with copper connections, shutoff valves and thermometers for performance monitoring.
The smaller modern system improves serviceability and efficiency while maintaining the facility's required capacity.
The unit being replaced had been in commission more than forty years in a facility that never really goes quiet, so the constraint was keeping hot water available rather than simply swapping the tank.
Floors and working spaces were covered for both the removal and the installation, and all job debris left with the crew. Two 200-gallon units in place of one 600-gallon also means the facility can service one without losing supply entirely.
