Before we arrive, two things help more than anything else. Shut the main water supply off — every minute it runs is more damage — and if water is anywhere near outlets or wiring, kill the power at the panel too.
If you smell gas, do not touch switches, leave the property and call from outside. Gas work in this county has to be done by a WSSC-licensed gasfitter, which we are.
