Underground Gas Line Installation in Columbia

The yard was trenched to local requirements, permits were pulled and exposed copper piping was replaced with a more durable underground system, anodeless risers and tracer wire.

Mallick pressure-tested the system, returned after hardscape work for final connections and completed the project after inspection.

Mallick worked alongside the landscaping contractor building the patio: they took the hardscape, we took the fuel. The exposed copper running from the exterior wall to the propane tank came out and was replaced with a code-compliant underground system.

Anodeless risers went in at the house, at the tank and behind the grill to feed the two burners, and tracer wire went in beside the pipe so the run can be located years from now without guesswork. The line passed inspection shortly after the final pressure test.
