A septic tank separates what arrives into three layers. Solids settle to the bottom, lighter material floats to the top, and the liquid between them passes out into the drain field, where the ground finishes the job.
Septic tanks need periodic pumping by a septic pumping provider. Mallick does not offer that service; our work focuses on the plumbing and drain lines connected to the system.

No. Mallick does not install new septic systems or pump septic tanks. We provide plumbing service and repairs for septic-connected properties and confirm the scope of work when you call.
What are the signs of a septic problem?
Slow drainage throughout the house, gurgling, sewage odours near the tank or field, wet or unusually green patches over the drain field, and backups at the lowest fixture. Standing water above the field is a late sign and usually means the field itself is affected.
What work can Mallick handle at a home with a septic system?
We assess plumbing and drain-line problems at homes connected to septic systems. A backup may have a house-side cause, so we discuss the symptoms and confirm the work needed. Septic tank pumping and installation of a new septic system are outside our services.
