Before we arrive, two things help more than anything else. Shut the main water supply off — every minute it runs is more damage — and if water is anywhere near outlets or wiring, kill the power at the panel too.

Frederick sits outside the WSSC service area, so the permit process that covers Mallick's Montgomery County work does not transfer here. In the county, plumbing permits are issued and inspected by Frederick County Permits and Inspections; inside the City of Frederick, the city runs its own permit office.
